What Summer is
Summer is a couples app built around one shared widget. Send a reaction or a photo from your widget or the app, and it shows up on your partner’s widget. You can also chat, share links, and keep your anniversaries together, with your day count at the top.
Pairing
- Both of you install Summer on an iPhone.
- One of you taps Get started and, at the end of setup, sends the invite with Share invite link or shares the 6-character code.
- The other opens the link, or taps I have an invite code and enters the code, then taps Join.
- Add the Summer widget: touch and hold your Home Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget, and search for Summer.
An invite lasts 24 hours, and making a new one replaces the old one. You can be connected with one person at a time.
Ending a connection
Open Settings and tap End connection. It ends the connection for both of you and deletes everything you shared from our server: moments, photos, links, shared dates and the profile photos you set for each other. You can keep counting days on your own phone or remove the count. Your account stays, so you can invite someone again later.
Deleting your account
Open Settings and tap Delete account and data. It ends your connection and deletes your account and your data from our server right away. Deleting the app alone doesn’t delete your account. See the privacy policy for exactly what is deleted.
